what if I spent my whole life on complex, abstract, hard to understand art that I believed was a path to potentially coming to a greater understanding of the universe and then all it took was “yeah fuckin melting democracy”
A large ice sculpture of the word “Democracy” was placed on the National Mall on Wednesday morning in direct view of the U.S. Capitol as a vanishing reminder of rapidly eroding rights and an existential threat to the freedom on which America was founded.

Let’s make the gross little red pot famous.
It’s probably been about four years that I’ve been trying to remember to bring my phone in to document it. Today was the day.
look I know there’s big problems in the world which is exactly why I crave this kind of content
I have been stopping at this gas station in Stone Ridge NY for seven years and this weird gross little red plastic pot has not moved an inch in that entire time. I need to know what it is and why it’s here but I cannot ask.
"the girlfriend of one of the founders of antifa"
We were looking at her website today but I’ll check that piece specifically. Thanks!
specifically looking for things that do NOT include electronics. acoustic music.
dear internet new music hive mind, another student question: what are some good/interesting experimental bassoon pieces? I can only think of one by Nicolaus Huber.

How is this not the top headline on every single news site?
SOUTH CAROLINA… “Judge Goodstein was walking on the beach when the fire started. Her husband, Arnie, was in the house with children and perhaps grandchildren. The family had to escape by jumping from a window or balcony...” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...

I cannot for the life of me understand why this has a reputation as being lesser Fugazi. Total masterpiece with a huge emotional and sonic impact. 1998 was a weird year.
I never really listened to Fugazi’s “End Hits” because it came out at a time when I was totally checked out of rock music but I gotta tell ya, it’s really fuckin good!
World premiere at Donaueschingen Musiktage in just a few weeks. Can't wait to be at both of these festivals!
