could look this up for you but I have my doubts that inhaled estrogen would be an effective method of HRT (and also might hurt your lungs, not good!!!)

a woman was recently baker acted for her IUD being expelled from heavy cramps and was accused of removing it herself, which was enough to justify a hold. this DOES happen and people have reason to be wary of the mental health systems in the united states

my best friend was placed on an involuntary hold for 72 hours and coerced into staying for multiple weeks. they were given haldol multiple times for the crime of... asking to speak with a therapist while they experienced an acute mental health crisis

there's a professor I have a lot of respect for, but I do NOT agree with her when she says "people don't get institutionalized for no reason" as if people don't get 5150'd/Baker Acted for the most minor reasons
