Before coming to the "gathering dust in its box" part I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and thought that maybe the relative was wearing the watch in a way that was damaging it. So maybe not literally theft but putting it back in the box.
Do you know if @xbox.com intends to sell Keeper at all ? It's out in 4 days but it's not for sell anywhere, not on Steam, not on the Xbox Store, not on the Epic Games Store and certainly not on GOG!
Where does that word come from ? It's french for "duck" (which the french also use to refer to newspapers or sugar cubes soaked in coffee as a treat for children) but how does it link with historical facts such as this one ?
I'm reminded of a movie in which an ornery examining judge is given lots of cash as a bribe and then enters every bill as evidence in his demand for a corruption trial...
I knew about his extreme disdain for janitors. Back then, I was reminded of my 5th grade teacher who got angry at us on behalf of the janitors for littering during class and never picking anything up. The same day she organized turning teams to pick up the trash at the end of the day.
I feel that Eyepatch Wolf is no longer part of "anime" youtube, his videos are less likely to be on anime these days. His "breakdown" when he realizes that Garfield is EVERYWHERE is hilarious. Especially the part when his mother found the picture of him with his Garfield plushie.
Are we supposed to believe that the rest of the vampires are fucked or did the D'abanos' little operation and its consequences woke the rest up, especially now that the glamours aren't the trump card they used to be ?
To be fair, I tend to agree with him whenever "was a member of the Hitler Youth" is used as a stain on someone's record rather than an indication that they're old and german.
The broader EU has them ping-ponging a lot in those beliefs, especially the one around mariage and children. An interesting case is the Order just before The Old Republic MMO, which had gone back to strict celibacy after bloody, intra-order feuds between dynasties nearly destroyed it.
To be fair, as badly as the EU post-Endor handled it (lots and lots and lots of humans, specifically white men, in the Order and a grandmaster title that had institutional power), the Order in the prequels, as represented in the council, had more alien diversity.
The prequels I believe ? The Jedi in the original trilogy were just two guys with mindsets that were much more focused on a specific task. Although the idea that the Dark Side fed on anger and hatred was already a thing.
This is a reference to a discussion I had with someone who wished that Jaina had been the template for the Archmage in multiplayer before they realized that the boost in speed provided by the horse was worth losing the better magical capabilities.
