There's a whole essay to be written on the symbolism of the Star Pendant in Slightly Damned, for both Kieri and Buwaro.

...but right now the only think I can thing about is: do pendants use built-in magical velcro? They don't seem to have pins or clasps so maybe Angels just. Stick 'em there.

The shape of Moonshade's Guardian-killing knife made me wonder if it is some kind of Angel Weapon deal where it's tied to an element. If you mirror it, it kind of resembles Syndel's part 1 symbol, meaning it could be using Dark magic. That knife did first appear in Part 1. #SlightlyDamned
