Reggie’s Portra recipe is really nice. Finally get a recipe that works well on night shots.
Claude Code is an amazing piece of software.
Good ol symlinks to the rescue, why didn’t I think of this.
Claude Code is a very good experience. Forget about the model not being as reliable as GPT-5, you can tell that this was an internal tool they were using for a long time before AI IDE tools became a thing.
Would be great to see Claude adopt `AGENTS.md` as I hate not having a single source of truth for my context file.
“The Race” - Tay K. Felony music slaps so hard.
Figma MCP is saving lives. Love it, let’s MCP everything.
Need to see Yellowstone National Park in this lifetime.
Claude Code might just be the best one since I started paying for AI tools. Proper game changer.
“Chains & Whips” is the perfect rap song. Hits like crack.
Don’t know why I decided to have 3 shots of grass fed espresso at 4pm but yea this shit is kicking my ass, chale.
Talking bout she couldn’t sleep all night. Ma’am did you forget that I literally paid physical cash for this space?
My landlady acting like we are breaking up is funny as hell. Ghanaian mums kill me chale, whole time I’m just trying to change my environment.
Absolutely love how I feel after 4 espresso shots in the morning. Feels like crack.
I wrapped this up with a generated JIRA acceptance criteria. I’m too deep in this rabbit hole now
Only thing it couldn’t get totally right were the tests - they did compile but 50% of them failed. This is still saving me like 2 hours so that’s pretty cool.
Today I decided to attempt completing a ticket with just prompting and zero typing. Gemini 2.5 Pro is insanely good because everything compiled correctly and worked as expected.
Finally about to try MCP, let’s see how this goes.
“Drown” - Bring Me The Horizon
“So Good, So Right” - Brenda Russell
“Do What You Gotta Do” - Nina Simone.

What skills should people acquire early in their careers that will last a lifetime, regardless of whether the skill is technical or not?

Technical: master the basic UNIX tools. awk, cut, sort, find, vim, tr.
Non-technical: Invest in deeply understanding what empathy is and how to apply it.
Confluence has got to be worst piece of software known to mankind.
“1983” - Neon Trees.
DeepThink R1 is really really good.
