I recently signed my best friend up for a subscription to the #awesomesocksclub as a Christmas present. The first pair would be delivered early, thus they are "preview socks."
The socks arrived today; attached are the pictures my friend sent me.
Packaging for a monthly socks subscription from The Good Store. A box reads: "Awesome Socks Club" in an artistic font; S/M (indicating size); Designed by: Zoë Polando Ryder; July 2024. To the left of the box is a biodegradable bag with numerous small white socks on a tan background, with a large white rectangle centered on the package, which contains all of the following: a depiction of a bird (possibly a pelican?) in flight, wearing socks, above a smaller version of the "Awesome Socks Club" text from the box. Below this is a small oblong bubble containing the text: "Shipped From Missoula, Montana." Underneath this is the following message: "Hello, This bag has socks in it. We really hope you like them. The Awesome Socks Club sends people awesome socks, but we also send every dollar of our profit to charity. This way, you can get cool socks, but you know the profit is going to make the world a better place, rather than to some stranger who is probably doing fine. Since our launch, the Awesome Socks Club has donated over $1,000,000 to help build and staff a better healthcare system in the Kono District of Sierra Leone. Thanks for being a part of that. Please tear this package open joyfully. -The Awesome Socks Club Team P.S. If you share online use #awesomesocksclub so we can find you!" At the bottom of the bag is a line reading: "Moving? Email us your new address at hello@dftba.com" To the right of that is a graphic which appears to be a stylized drop of water with the letters d(subscript 2)w inside of the drop, and a TM to the right of the drop. To the right of this graphic is the recyclable symbol, three folded arrows that approximate the shape of a triangle, with the arrows pointing in a counter-clockwise direction. Surrounding this logo in a circular configuration is the word: "Biodegradable" repeated four times. A single crew style sock laid on a wooden table, the box it came in visible in top of frame. The sock has a small red stripe at the top, with a toe stripe in bright yellow. The background of the body of the sock is blue. Visible in the image are a variety of sea creatures, including what appears to be school of at least 8 rainbow tetras (blue forward body, red rear body, yellow fins with black accents and eye); what appears to be an angel fish (mostly yellow with some white patches and black accents and eye); and what appears to be two shrimp or prawns (red with white patches, black stripes and detailing, and black eye, red wispy antennae swirl upward from the "nose"). Each group of sea buddies has what appears to be a speech bubble, though the text is not fully visible; the recipient of the socks informs me that the tetra bubble reads: "Kindness takes bravery," the Angelfish bubble reads: "It is okay to ask for space," and the shrimp bubble reads: "You've got this" The image is of the sock being worn, and is taken by the wearer (so it is "upside down" from the previous picture). See previous picture for description of the sock's colors and images. I am informed that the socks are "very comfy!!!" The three exclamation points should be noted, as the text describing the arrival of the socks had very, very many exclamation points. I am pretty sure the recipient was very excited and enthusiastic, from what I know of their demeanor.

Being a fighter doesn't have to mean being a loner; soldiers are a squad. You deserve to call for help - when it is useful to conserve your resources, when something is beyond your skill or knowledge in that moment.
