Another great turnout for #NoKings peaceful protest in Wooster, OH. Estimated attendance 1500 in a city of 27000 that included students, families, seniors, and all generations. No sign of hating America- just great hope for righting the wrongs of the current administration.

I just watched JD Vance lie that the Trump administration significantly lowered costs on prescription drugs. Then why did my husband get a letter from his Medicare Part D insurer stating that his premium would increase by 120%? Don’t think this admin. policies won’t affect you negatively.

Ohio governor Mike DeWine bent the knee to Trump and ordered 150 OH National Guard troops to D. C. Many of us in OH were deeply affected by the tragedy of May 4, 1970, when the National Guard killed four unarmed #KentState Univ. students and wounded nine. Another tragedy waiting to happen?

Megan O’Rourke is an excellent scientist. I worked with Megan on a USAID project in Cambodia to improve pest management and reduce pesticide use in vegetables. I don’t live in NJ07 but I’ll donate to her campaign. We need more scientists like Megan in Congress, especially now!🧪

I've dedicated my life to putting nutritious, affordable food on the table and combatting climate change. I won't stand by while Trump undermines NJ families on a daily basis.

Today, I launched my campaign to flip NJ-07. Join us!

🌱Common eastern bumblebee 🐝 foraging in basil flowers. Other pollinators love this plant so I left the flowers on. They are actually quite pretty.

Lovely (to a plant pathologist) Botrytis lesion on a pansy leaf. Botrytis is a common fungus with a broad host range that prefers cool, damp conditions; it’s a weak pathogen and often attacks flowers, which then fall off, providing a “base” for the fungus to infect hardier foliage.

🧪More pollinators! Green metallic sweat bee, leaf cutter bee, western honey bees, and bumblebees visiting our flower and herb container garden. The sweat bee has collected an impressive amount of pollen. All bees were identified by AI thru Google Lens, so may not be accurate. Corrections welcome.

Pollinators like this western honey bee are attracted to my urban flower garden. They also visit basil flowers, which I usually snip off, but this year left them on to encourage these pollinators. 🧪

15 years ago I had the pleasure of shaking hands with former President Jimmy Carter on a flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam. Pres. Carter came up one aisle in Economy and back down the other, shaking hands with people before returning to the front. He was so gracious & did not need a flying palace!
