My ma busts my balls over not talking to people when I do go to my one in person class on campus; but she doesn't get it.

Other acquaintances and friends make fun of me for it too but they don't get it either.

But I suppose at the end of the day it really is just both funny and pathetic on my end.

Then seeing my friends boast about their college experience(s) and how happy/how much better theirs are has just been really hammering in my head how I'm just making this worse for myself.

College especially has just been so dogshit it's almost comedic. Most people would be happy to be doing online courses, but my human interaction has dwindled so much and it's so much harder for me to complete my work.
