Still disappointed the physical copy of #TalesOfXillia was cancelled for @xbox.com. @bandainamcousa.bsky.social if you're going to force Xbox players into purchasing digital, you have to make it worth it by giving us at least Play Anywhere. Why couldn't you at least do that? It's so dumb.

Yeah, which you said if you wanted to play ALL your games forever, you'd play on PC, which just isn't the case. That's the point that's being made. With online and digital storefronts, there will inevitably be games that will disappear forever regardless of platform.

Does EA? Does Ubisoft? What about those single player games that have to phone home to prove you 'own' the game?

Just because they can be backed up to physical media, doesn't mean they'll be able to be played.

This sucks so much. I was so glad that you guys had physical copies of it. I'm beyond disappointed in @bandainamcousa.bsky.social for cancelling the physical edition. We do still like physical copies of games, especially these types of games, on Xbox.

I love using the power of the #XboxSeriesX to play a #SNES game from the early 90's. #FinalFantasyVI is such a good game though.
