a newspaper ad from 1991 about providing help with business, setting up a cooperative, etc. Everyone pays for the actions, committed and not, their own way: with immense anguish, messed-up future, grey loneliness. Have you heard how pitifully the cuckoo's voice carries through the forest sometimes? She (the bird) cries about its abandoned babies. ... A newspaper interview of some person who answers a question "What bothers you the most in your today's life?". He talks about anxiety, uncertainty, how "everyone judges each other". "We need to put moratorium on all politics, demilitarise everyone and everything, stop funding military industry and give the money to people (human benefit). Why do generals say that we should stay on our military agenda? What are we fighting for?" (not a literal translation, just the idea. It's written in russian, in the beginning of 1990s)

Yura and Volodya are sitting in a boat. Yura's in the lead, talking emotionally. Profile view. Yura: And how did i feel, when i got to the "Willow" camp next summer and ended up with that bastard in one shift, one group ? ... And that moron, shithead! Volodya: Hey, cool down (like, "stop swearing") View slightly from above, close-up Yura:... Yura: That was his fault, this is why they kicked me out! A picture from the past, a memory, that Yura is talking about in the next line. "And he thought it wasn't enough! He decided to mar things up here too." (The boy saying the slur for Jewish people "Zhidenok") The boy (Vishnevsky) grabbed Yura's head with his elbow, putting him in a vulnerable position. Yura is visibly irritated. A couple of people on both sides of him have different emotions - one boy is lauging, not taking the situation seriously, and another girl is upset and a little concerned. The view of the scene from far away. But Yura already puched his offender in the face with full force. The boy nearby is almost cheering, the girl is shocked, covering her mouth. The writing says (as Yura continues talking): Yura: There i lost my temper and smacked him in the face, with everyone around. That was a strong punch, his nose was like a squash, blood everywhere... (Some things are not translated right stylistically, but it's a direct dialogue from the book, when they were talking in a boat and Yura revealed that he had Jews in his mum's bloodline) (It sounds dramatic but I hope you get what I mean)
