Oh yes, and there are still people with energy to spare to give out about the Greens (who are gone from government now and really can't do anything to anyone anymore)
. . . instead of giving hell to the rich people's party and the big ag party for leading us into their Neo Liberal wet dream. Ugh
sailshipearth.bsky.social
They were . . .less than perfect, we all piled on them and now they're gone and we only have FFFG to blame for regressing just about any environmentally and socially progressive initiatives.
I wonder about how that played out a lot.

If you do nothing for Nature but one thing this week - get onto your email and let your public representative have it - this clear- felling of native Irish woodland can't be let stand.

Clear-felling not only destroyed some of the very few native trees left in Ireland, but a whole habitat with it.

In addition to being totally pathetic, he's also completely wrong.
EPA polls consistently show that the vast majority, across all ages, incomes , urban or rural, all want the government to take action.
So by polarising, he must mean that Micheal o Leary,Amazon, and Tirlan don't want it

The combustion risks are growing for human society as a result of the climate crisis.

So beware the incendiary rhetoric of Musk, Trump, Thiel and other super-rich fire starters.

My latest take on the link between extreme weather and extreme politics.

Extreme weather and extreme politics go hand in hand - billionaires like Musk are pushing both

Time to turn up pressure - many people here are asking for better protection for our seas.

As the Irish Minister for Agriculture vows to fight for the right to keep filling rivers with levels of agri-pollutants illegal in the rest of the EU, results show a massive leap of 16% in a single year.

Whoever told them it was okay to turn OUR rivers into open sewers?

Fertiliser pollution of Irish rivers is getting worse - at a really bad time for the government
It comes just as the government is seeking an extension to Ireland’s nitrates derogation.

The Climate Conversations 2025 survey is now open. The government is asking people to share their views on building a more sustainable future!

Some of the questions are poorly designed and risk encouraging climate science denial, so it's vital that strong, evidence-based voices are heard!

The way we're going, nobody in 50 years time will have access to the information required to understand and deal with the sudden changes our winters and summers will see.
