there's just something so quietly menacing about how un-aggressive the entire situation was. when someone behaves in violence, there's always traces of proof left behind somewhere.. so what does one do in the face of a calm threat?

so the professor goes back to his room & finds his entire room having been touched. not ransacked or vandalized but SHIFTED, objects placed neatly in different areas. his entire suitcase of data was cleaned out & replaced then repacked. the hotel had no knowledge nor saw anyone go into his room. BRR

barely showed enough proof that he was from the ministry & took his evidence/paperwork, then "looked away" to give rossi a peek at a barely healed vampire bite on his neck. he leaves, the librarian working hasn't seen anyone come in in the last 3 HOURS. the map stolen was replaced by another one.

For Indigenous People’s Day, I’d like to infodump about the Cahokia mound. Built near present day St. Louis around 1000 CE, it was a vast trade hub with a population of about 20,000. This made it the largest city north of Mexico on the continent, bigger than London and Paris at the time!

The Cahokia mound, located outside modern day St. Louis, Missouri. It is a large hill which is now covered in grass, under a clear blue sky.
