And when the game Okami came out, it was basically the final thing to really draw me in. Tales like that of the Kitsune, the shishi, a wide variety of Yokai and elemental gods fascinated me. Instruments like the Erhu and Shamisen have a divine Sound to them and are a blessing to our ears.

Kikyo is inspired by Japanese/Chinese culture. I grew up with Studio Ghibli movies thanks to my mom and it sparked my love and interest in asian mythology. Especially the connection to so many gods and spirits. I was always drawn to the magical and fantastical.
