I spent my birthday playing in a @lymanstaverndc.bsky.social monthly 2 years ago and it, along with every time I've been there, has been a great experience.

Anti-trans hate at a pinball tournament should be everyone's problem. The cis people shouldn't get to play on while it's happening. And they shouldn't expect women who are preparing to direct a different tournament to clean up after it while the man in charge does nothing.

It uses actual digitized sound effects, multiple modes, decent controls, a pull back plunger, LCD wiggle Martians, and a solid table layout.

I feel like the OBX transphobia incident has like a 50% chance of being swept under the rug with a suggestion that trans women "vote with their feet" -- that is, not show up next year.

If the IFPA wants to make a powerful statement, they should give this tournament a 0% TGP rating. Not only did the TD fail in addressing the incident, but most everyone else continued playing as if nothing happened. Therefore, all should be punished.
After today's multiple transphobic incidents, I'm not playing in any OBX pinball tournaments.
I hope the tournament becomes nearly worthless in WPPR points.

One of the employees ran into the bathroom and shooed a trans person out and told them that she would call the cops for trespassing. Tourney admin basically took a “well this is my volunteer but not my employee” position.

Put some miles on the car driving throughout Central Jersey for videos. Some days just don't work out as far as scouting locations go though. Out of 7 places I visited, only 3 had games in them. The other 4? Either no games, SOME games but nothing working, or totally out of business. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
