oh god, there's a new game + with harder levels
I've been playing too much Ball X Pit.
This problem addresses itself as you get more characters and start to plan around how to bounce around the town effectively. Pretty cool.
To explain that a bit further, in between rounds, you have a town building sim minigame that acts as the main progression for stats, new characters, mechanics ect. The issue is that you can only harvest/build once in between rounds. Each round takes somewhere between 8 to 10 mins.
I think my only gripe is that the harvesting building mechanic makes progression feel very slow. Like if you miss getting a new character building finished, you're left without that new character. It would be nice to relax just those buildings at least.
Okay, Ball X Pit is pretty dope.
Had a 27 year old call me old for knowing how to use a digital camera. Wat?
I think I have a guilty pleasure in playing Fortnite.
Wife's been in surgery this afternoon but modern technology has given us a Domino's Pizza tracker for progress.

🚀🚀LITTLE ROCKET LAB IS OUT NOW!!! 🚀🚀

4 years of development, finally available on Steam and Game Pass

RTs unbelievably appreciated!! <3
I saw this post I quoted last night in the discovery feed. I honestly wish I knew about it sooner. I'd been looking into more automation games the past couple months and somehow this flew under the radar for me.
This game literally came out of nowhere for me. I was playing the demo this morning for the first time and it feels like a child between Stardew Valley and Satisfactory. I can't wait to play more and see how deep it gets further in.
I signed Little Rocket Lab back in November 2022!

Finally coming in 5 days, unbelievably excited to get it out there.

Such a long time coming, and it's *genuinely* one of the best games I've ever played

Felt like Prime Gaming was a more recognized name than Luna but 🤷
Amazon is retiring the Prime Gaming brand for Amazon Luna - still offering Prime benefits like free monthly PC games and Twitch monthly free sub with Prime.

Looks like same benefits but different brand name
Everything is just getting worse all of the time.
Ya know Silksong is still only $20 and Hades 2 is $30. No reason why I'd bring that up of course.
Microsoft confirms changes to Game Pass (Essential, Premium, Ultimate tiers) news.xbox.com/en-us/2025/1...

Ultimate priced at $29.99/month
I think I'm finished up with Hades 2 for now. There's just the epilogue left which I imagine if it's like the first game it'll take a bit of grinding. I'm sure I'll get to it at some point but need to get back to Silksong first. Too many brilliant games.
Hades 2 is pretty fucking awesome. They got me interested in using my specials and casts more. The combat just feels so good. The acting and soundtrack is just phenomenal.
I beat Hades again for anticipation for the full release for Hades 2. I didn't want to touch early access so I know next to nothing and I'm super excited.
I only use my windows machine for Steam and NOTHING else now.
I'm in between like 100 different thoughts so you'll have to excuse the random downer/upper/downer string. That's just how it's been for me lately.
To be honest I need to finally start investing in myself. I've been way too self sacrificial and it's finally taking its toll on me. Overburdening myself at work and then not releasing ever. I've been overstressed and overwhelmed. I don't think this feels like burnout though, just overpressure.

I'm beat though. That took me 2 hours when I was expecting a 5 min fix because of that stupid bolt. At least I'm walking out of this with a new battery, self jump starter, and finally a multimeter for home which I should've honestly had years ago.
It's funny because we were looking for a multimeter this morning because co-worker wasn't sure it was the battery at first which is fair but as soon as the sun started rising, you could see what exploded underneath. I might not know cars too well but at least I'm good at electricity.
I don't think I'll ever let anyone who's not me change the battery in the future. They killed the bolt for the battery securement plate so I had to brute force the plate to slide the old battery out and bent it back with the new battery in. Got a new plate ordered to fix that issue this weekend.
