At least one person was sent to hospital after there vehicle came to a stop just feet from the waters edge in St. John’s on Sunday. Emergency personnel responded to Long Pond near the intersection to Allandale Road and Prince Philip Drive just before 4:20 p.m. on Sunday for reports of a single vehicle collision. When crews arrived a single vehicle had hopped the median crossing over into oncoming traffic then going over a side walk and down over a bank narrowly missing a tree coming to a stop...
