The “NOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo” @wardamnmegs.bsky.social screamed as she put her head in her hands on that Auburn fumble

Nico Iamaleava was better than I expected, tough as hell and stuck with a really bad team that couldn’t help him out all year. I was really impressed by him and grateful for everything he gave for UCLA this season.

All I want is for the final to go to penalties and both Müller and Messi to miss, then some guy who still has student loans to win MLS Cup
Müller vs Messi is a pretty funny cup final match-up for 2025 North America

Tottenham’s co-sporting directors, who were promoted into their roles last month, signed every single player in this team except Ben Davies. The club saw the squad and said “yes, more of that please.”

14 cities in the U.S. (and 20 total) is wholly unnecessary for a tournament of this size.

All it does is allow FIFA to launder more money and the federal government's terrorization of vulnerable people in the name of "security" to extend to more cities and more people.
Proposed US Host Cities + Full list including alternatives

We now take a break from the story of Thanksgiving, where there definitely wasn't a mass killing of native people, to turn on the football and do the tomahawk chop

Windmill Farms workers are fighting for a union! Support their boycott. This holiday season, don’t buy Windmill mushrooms!

The grass and lighting at Atléti looks particularly odd today, almost like it's artificial turf and they're at BC Place or something

Thomas Frank watched the match against Arsenal and decided "we need less skill and fewer ideas"

If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Pie is good. All the pies are good.
Apple pie is bad. This is not really debatable. So is key lime pie, while we’re on the topic. Pecan pie is the 🐐 tho.

I hated Wicked For Good so much that I haven’t done my Letterboxd review yet because I have so much to say that it’s not a phone task. It’s a laptop task now.

Spurs’ problem is they can’t just fire Frank because they just promoted the two guys who hired him and built this terrible squad. The solution was cleaning house and instead they decided to double down on this disaster just one month ago.

Mourinho 2.0 but with no Kane and Son
November 23, 2025 at 5:11 PM
This Spurs team has 2 players under the age of 24 in it. It’s not even something to build and dream on. There’s no project. This is it.

You could say this is just what Thomas Frank has to do against top teams, except this is how Spurs look most games. Unwatchable, uninspired garbage.

I assume the scene at BC Place was nuts after the Caps won but it was hard to tell because they kept showing zoomed in shots of players and the announcers never shut up so we never got a feel for the stadium’s vibe

Smart of Gotham to run the “get Rose a free shot on her left foot” play. That’s good tactics.
