A second season of ‘Task’ should be a Tom prequel. I want the story of a priest who gives patients last rites & falls in love with a woman he works with, resulting in him leaving the priesthood to join the (checks notes) FBI. That’s a second season I would support.
I know there’s a lot going on this nice Sunday evening what with the rallies & football & General Trumpness happening but the ‘Task’ finale is tonight and I’m very excited. Second best show of the year (behind ‘The Pitt’) and some of the best performances on TV this year. Can’t wait for tonight.
So sorry for your loss but that was a nice write up. Sounds like he was a heck of a guy.

MAGA man eats pavement after shouting slurs at No Kings protesters
Listen, this is just another example of the woke left, the people who had nothing better to do on a Saturday then spend the day blocking city streets and causing problems for local law enforcement, not being able to take a joke. It’s sad really.
- JD Vance on the Sunday shows (probably)
That’s one of the things about this whole shit show- they’re soft as shit and are the epitome of dish out but can’t take it.

Hey, I rattled off 35 thoughts about @moeperiod.bsky.social in honor of them celebrating 35 years.
I also mentioned 'The Chair Company,' closed Portland, Maine music venues, the passage of time, dad friends, my old neighbors, playing air guitar & more.

I figured something would come out. Just how these things go now. But his response was perfect and resonated as well. Our past defines us, for better or worse. It’s part of us. And him saying that was refreshing to hear.
Graham Platner just shared an amazing response to the article that came out, highlighting past social media comments he made & everyone should check that out.
But they should check out this response too because it’s equally amazing.
I agree. There was a collective releasing of pent up energy both by the band and fans because of COVID that made summer and fall 2021 special.

Have you watched The Chair Company? If not, you should. If yes, then I would think the customer service scene resonates.
This is fun if you picture Kendall Roy saying it
"I was married, but I’m not married anymore. Women don't like the vehicle."
SNL is definitely hit or miss these days but they still can nail it with the prerecorded ones
