Remember, I mentioned Valrie Blair's book on Nov 6th. She wrote it all in my online lounges and STAY-Treats for writers. Well, here is her spectacular cover using ideas dreamed up by Valerie and designed into stunning reality by Teena at zurl.co/5Mo9j. Check her out!

I've been saying something similar to this book's subtitle for years. "You have a story and someone, I suspect several someones are waiting for it." What are you waiting for in order to sit down and write it? If you need support, DM me. I have several free resources to offer you.

Contronyms? I'm sure I haven't heard this term before. @thisone0verhere is where I first learned of them. Thank you, Jonathan. If you like wordy witticisms, I am positive you will enjoy following this fellow. A word that can mean opposite things depending on the context!

Couldn't resist this photo. Where do these colours take you in your memory? Anywhere? Write about the bluest sky, that one red dress you owned...

Do you have a grumpy person in your life who snarls more than purrs? I worried this cat was hurt, but it uncurled itself, rose up, stretched and walked haughtily away. For me, I choose being predisposed to cheerfulness. It lubricates my path through life. What about you?

My sister and I have concluded that the dogs are very Mexican in their reported laidback nature. The only time I heard any serious barking is when we walked too close to the owner's truck or one dog entered another's boundary. They are placid happy wanderers free to roam.

Ask for a book in your treat bag! It's always a booooootiful day to read books. I wrote a blog on how to train yourself to be a reader. If you want to read more as one of your life goals, reach out. Happy Hallowe'en, candy giving, dressing up, however you do the day!

What fun to celebrate the Day of the Dead with friends and family after our book launch extravaganza! I am so blessed.

What is your favourite hot beverage, and are you a connoisseur of how it must be made, like my sister is a coffee snob? I still have to write my coffee piece about never being a coffee drinker.

Free download Transformative Travel Tales! Teena of Clipston Publishing created an amazing itinerary to launch our book. Such a joy to meet and chat with the other writers and learn more about them. Juicy stuff on the pages of this book. Transformation, validation & coming home.

I adore this punny joke and will continue to do so until the end of time. It's just do damn clever and I bow at the feet of people who think these witty phrases up.

What's your choice between reading and exercising? I used to be teased (veiled criticism) that it wasn't real cardio if I read books while on the exercise bike or the stairmaster. To me at that time, it was combining two great things. (Yes, I am a true-blue multi-tasker.)

Some memories linger with tenacity. Have you ever noticed? For me, it's often moments with friends or food that I most often recall, complete with sounds, aromas, feelings, & the words, tears, & laughter shared. I also remember useless bits like old numbers. What do you recall?

You may need to rely on other people's words of encouragement when your own fail you. Borrow them, find the people who lift you up, expect the best because they know when you doubt that you are the best person to do what you do. No one else can do what you do the way you can.

This meme was fun to create. My sister has had notorious "fun" with printers. I have an awesome printer, but it needs to be turned off between every job and then turned back on to work and connect. How I deduced this, I'm not sure. What tech anomalies do you experience?

And occasionally I breathe fire out of my nostrils, but never around the books!

Play with words, throw them on the page, dare to write the truth or have fun creating lies, honourably known as fiction. Jump into fantasy worlds, and if you don't know where to start, you know where to find me.

I offered this quote, "Some secrets go to the grave," in a writing retreat. Wow, the writing that prompt elicited! Oh my word! My mother took many secrets to the grave. Too many. We went to Mexico together in 1970. Today, I'm taking her with me in my heart—time to heal.
