i got forced to update to win11 on my work pc and this shit is just awful.

i am pretty close to just deciding to turn my PC into a linux machine. thanks to steam deck, linux gaming is more viable than ever and i don't do much else that's intensive with it.

i refuse to turn something i paid good money for into an AI machine that works worse than their predecessor

i don't know what kamone thinks of character strength and i am not the type to ask for buffs or nerfs.

i just adapt to the video game in front of me.

fwiw i think yuzu is still like middle of the pack. it just feels bad when i can play an easier character that can make more mistakes and still come out ahead.

competition is hard on the mental and so i need to not be able to blame my character if i lose or else i turn into a bitch lol

She's never been hit by hard nerfs. But it has been every single patch/update since ST that the cast around her gets stronger while she remains the same.

This most recent patch changing grd has made her zoning a lot worse so it was time to jump ship lol

She's very fun! Also yuzu keeps getting nerfed so Izumi is my investment for the future.

I still like yuzu a lot and will play her casually. I just think if I don't believe in her competitive viability I should play a character I do believe in.

I think at this point game freak really only shines when they're not locked down by what is expected of a mainline pokemon game.

I've found myself skipping mainline games and enjoying the spinoffs way more in the recent years
