I agree that a Democracy is identified by "thoughtful, reasoned, respectful, searching, inspirational" discourse.

However, genteel words shouldn't mean milque-toast response, like we see from Democrats leadership.

"thoughtful, reasoned, respectful, searching, inspirational" are fighting words too.

Poor people who are Trump supporters are a special kind of stupid.

Unless MAGA membership includes, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, and other safely nets that Republicans/Confederates are cutting from the rest of the Country, the only other reasonable explanation is that they are just stupid individuals.
