I make magazines, books and websites about the world of entertainment - mainly Doctor Who, pop stars and soaps. Swedish pop fan. Big gay. he/him 🌈
Him indoors' latest novel is a frankly ridiculous 99p this weekend, please buy it to make some more money so he can buy Saffron some more books and a car, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding!
99p! The ebook of my new novel THE GLORIOUS DEAD is a Black Friday deal on Kobo (and basically all other online book outlets). Grab a bargain and your next Christmas read. Spoiler: it’s v good.

When I was about 10 my gran used to send me to the fag counter at our local Presto with a note asking them to sell me 20 Silk Cut and they always did, so maybe that why they no longer exist.
I’m unsure why Presto supermarkets no longer exist. I suspect it may have something to do with the sinister tag line and the anthropomorphic penis used in their ads.

Coincidentally, I saw Anthropomorphic Penis play Glasto in ‘93.

I remember when the columnist class all fucked off to Google+ when that started but all came back to Twitter within weeks because nobody was listening.

Tonight’s EastEnders had Alfie say this line to Zoe: “I’m sorry I didn’t believe you before - y’know, about your tormentor and all that”

Kitty, they say to me, how do you keep so young? Do you perhaps inject yourself with a solution deriving from the placenta of the female gibbon?

An absolute flop at the time, but what a life this song has had since! I saw it performed in a MUSICAL last weekend!

Watching the BBC girlbands thing, such odd presentation. Tiny on-screen captions for the clips seem like they’ve used the metadata. Obviously zero budget for using contemporary newspaper headines (surprisingly expensive!) so rubbish recreations used. And don’t start me on all the clapperboards etc.
