I would ask your dental insurance how they are going to handle what medical doesn’t pay for? They should say whatever you expect imo. But would ask that before billing your medical.

The dentist likely made a claim under ‘needed for health reasons’

Like they were pushing on teeth or something. Not really sure what they determine.

Can always try to ask them to bill it another way as a normal wisdom teeth extract and see if dental will cover. But…

Sometimes they bill medical first because they can pay for some. Then you take the remaining balance from medical and bill your dental insurance. That’s pretty common.

When you are starting into the industry that is just what happens. get as many hats as you can and have work experience with stuff and quit and go to another job to make more money.
