I’m running the new DnD starter set for my kids. We’re having fun, but some of the encounters are tough, so you need to keep an eye on monster stats or you’ll accidentally cause a TPK.

The Mystic never made it to print in DnD 5e, and for good reason. It took some big swings, but it never got to a point where it was ready for print. Now, several years later, we’re getting the Psion.

DnD players: being good at rolling a d20 is the shortest path to being effective in DnD. If you get really good, you don’t need to optimize!

But most of us can’t control how well our dice roll, so maybe character optimization is still the answer.

We asked if she needed anything, and she's asking us to sell her goods in town for her. Our GM is offering us a two-month (in game) investment setup with a 20% return. It's a good deal!
