Do you know how hard it is to remain an optimist in the face of naysayers? To remain joyous and charismatic when faced with ignorant people who plot your death without reason?

No national politician of either party has the temperament to do this. Mamdani does.

Let's face it. Trump doesn't mull or consider anything.

There is no contemplating.

No thought process.

No weighing of pros and cons.

No reviewing of laws or facts.

He doesn't even get the 1-page briefing like in his first term.

Now, Miller or Vaughn show him a video and tell him what to do.

My guess is there's no settlement since Stephen Miller and his Merry Band of Fascists wouldn't be silent if they successfully blackmailed money out of the Michigan Law Review.

A Republican called [I kid you not] Thaddeus Claggett from Licking County, Ohio, introduced a bill to prohibit artificial intelligence systems from being recognized as people and make it illegal to marry one.

PRO TIP: you have never been able to marry an inanimate object. No new law required.

What people keep glossing over is that Americans are not required to carry Passports. Or driver's licenses. Or birth certificates. Or credit cards. Or any form of ID.

I lived in Russia right after the Soviet Union fell. I know exactly what it means to hear "Papers, please."

Never in America.

I call Wonderbread Marshmallow Bread. I hate it. Except when you need to feel like an 8 year old with a crappy grilled cheese and Campbell's tomato rice soup. 99% of time I make fancy bread and fancy cheese grilled cheese but once every few years I gotta Marshmallow bread it.
