RFK Jr has cost countless lives with his ignorant anti-vaccine stance. He has seen the science and decided instead to base decisions on debunked misinformation and faked studies just to make himself feel better. If there is a better word to describe this than “Evil” then I don’t know what it is.

The right wing likes to claim that the first thing dictators do is take away guns. This is not true: the first thing dictators do is silence the independent media. That is what the Trump administration is doing by frivolous lawsuits and by threats from the FCC.

Does anybody have recommendations for a good cloud backup service, which would be a second tier of backup for my family systems after our on site backups? Unfortunately iDrive has proven unreliable, unable to address problems, and unwilling to communicate other than vague scripted assurances.

The claim that the Executive Branch was using its power to set tariffs due to some sort of economic emergency has always been specious at best. But the newly announced tariff for Brazil based on their prosecution of Bolsonaro is just an egregious case of dictator wannabe cronyism.

RFK Jr long ago transitioned from being a misinformed crackpot to dangerous madman, contributing to the measles deaths in Samoa with his denial of vaccines and science. Vesting him with government power makes it much worse, giving him power to ruin many more lives with his lunatic views on autism.

Normally, comments by a President would not cause such consternation in the markets. But, with the pattern of erratic and downright stupid behavior by Trump, and with his own party not willing to push back on even the most clearly unconstitutional actions, there is real danger to the world economy.

It is easy to see why there is so much divisiveness when people get completely different views of the world from their media. For example, Fox News doesn’t seem it important to mention today’s Supreme Court ruling pausing deportations.

The DOJ airing 4-year-old allegations about Abrego Garcia as a distraction from the administration's illegal conduct and their ignoring of the Supreme Court is just shameful. I take such allegations seriously, but they are simply that: allegations. Not charges, not convictions. #RuleOfLawMatters

Trump is now paying off the dictator of El Salvador to do his dirty work, illegally imprison somebody who should never have been deported, and ignore a Supreme Court ruling. This should terrify literally everybody. If you think it couldn’t happen to you, then you haven’t been paying attention.

Are we starting to see cracks in the mindless monolith of congressional Republicans? A major loss in Wisconsin, closer than expected special elections and nationwide protests might have made a few Senators and Reps more afraid of Democrat turnout than of a Trump-backed primary challenge. Maybe.

I have a trade deficit with my grocery store: I buy lots from them but they never buy from me. In Trump’s thinking I should impose a 50% tariff so that I pay more and force myself to grow all my own food, even though I might change my mind on the tariff next week.

It's nice to see that Elon Musk wasn't able to buy the Wisconsin Supreme Court election. It's still weird to me that some states actually elect their Supreme Court, but the existence of term limits instead of lifetime appointment is probably a good start.
