Last week I had a rather fun game of #warhammerfantasybattle #8theditionfantasy. my wood elves took on my buddy's #ogrekingdoms army. #woodelves were victorious due to a long charge by my treeman into a stonehorn and subsequently treewhacking the bejasus out of it.

It was all the references to the other factions that always interested me. Techno barbarians, flesh shapers and God Prophets. Of course I may be misremembering but there were some very evocative faction names. I will go home and reread my custodes codex.

Dear Games Workshop, for a new specialist game how about setting something in the unification wars? I'm sure I'd throw dosh at that.
