Sabrina Carpenter swearing is obviously not the most controversial thing to ever happen on #SNL, but you have to imagine network executives are not going to be thrilled about anything that could garner FCC attention. Especially in an already relatively edgy episode.
Sabrina Carpenter is one of the best modern #SNL hosts but I do fear for her future on the show after she dropped two uncensored f-bombs during her second musical performance tonight.
Sabrina Carpenter is in the relatively small group of people who actually manage to sound good performing on #SNL despite the horrible acoustics on their set.
If Taylor Swift does a theatrical event for future albums, it has to be something more than visualizers with surface level introductions.

Give us in-depth breakdowns or a cinematic live performance (if she’s not touring) or really just anything to look at. #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl
This is the type of thing that should’ve been in the #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl release party movie.
It sure looks like AI was used in these #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl promotional videos, unless Taylor Swift has learned a new alphabet and retroactively redesigned the surprise song piano. (Though, as a caveat, it’s unclear how involved she is in this scavenger hunt and how much of it is Google.)

I’m glad #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl turned out to be good because I have eight vinyl variants and four signed CDs in the mail 🙂‍↕️

Screenshotting the current top twelve songs on my Apple Music Replay since they’re probably all going to be replaced by #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl by the end of the year.
I was honestly prepared to have to sit with #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl for a few days before it clicked, because I did with both Midnights and TTPD, but no… this is an all-timer pop album from the first listen.
Taylor Swift has officially given us Pop Bible 2.0 with #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl.

This is a completely new sound for her, not an iterative evolution or rehash of anything she’s done before.

Not a single skip from beginning to end. An instant classic.

The implications of “we tell the world to leave us the fuck alone and they do” being on Taylor Swift’s wish list. #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl
“Turns out my dick’s bigger.” — Taylor Swift, 2025 #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl
If this whole album is as good as these first few tracks then we officially have Pop Bible 2.0 on our hands courtesy of Taylor Swift. #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl
Locking in my prediction that if the grand finale of the rollout for #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl was the signed CDs (or the movie), there will still be an encore where every variant, deluxe edition and signed copies are restocked and available at the same time.
Billy Joel famously stopped putting out music for decades because he wanted to go out on top rather than watering down his legacy. #TaylorSwift
Not confident in this theory at all but what if the reason there was no signed vinyl for #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl is because the pre-pre-order ones are going to come signed to keep them out of the hands of scalpers 👀
It’s an interesting choice to make four different signed variants of #TSTheLifeOfAShowgirl but give them all the same cover with no distinguishing characteristics on the exterior. Also interesting to not have any of the signed inserts match that cover photo.
In short: Taylor Swift could likely sell out the Big House multiple nights in a row, but the stadium probably couldn’t handle The Eras Tour.
Michigan Stadium only has one tunnel that is notoriously narrow and low-clearance, making it extremely difficult to move large production elements, like the elaborate stages performers on that level usually use on their tours, into the stadium.
If you’re confused about how Zach Bryan and John Mayer are about to play the largest concert in U.S. history, it’s because they’re performing at a college stadium that, while very large, most major acts don’t visit because it’s not equipped to easily handle their production.

Jimmy Kimmel mentions Lansing during his second monologue back on the air. His show is being preempted by the Nexstar-owned affiliate in Michigan’s capital city.
Jimmy Kimmel responds to Donald Trump: “You can’t believe they gave me my job back? I can’t believe we gave you your job back.”

“He does know bad ratings,” Kimmel says as he displays Trump’s approval ratings on screen.
Kimmel calls Erika Kirk saying she forgives her husband’s murderer “a selfless act of grace, forgiveness from a grieving widow.

“It touched me deeply,” he says as he again gets choked up.

He says if we take one thing away, it should be that.
Kimmel gets choked up when he says “it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man.”

He says he has loved ones on “the other side” and that Charlie Kirk’s murderer doesn’t represent any group.
