The #1 feature requested during playtests of Shelter was "Can the hostage be a dog?"

Initially, I wasn't able to figure out a solution that worked.

Well after a recent tip from another designer, I finally got it working.

I present, the "Dogstage."

Still blows my mind that with HL:Alyx, valve shipped ALL of the map source files for the entire game.

Wonder how something works in the SP campaign? You can just go load it up, and check out the scripting raw. It's sick.

Around 10 months ago I began work on a CS2 project titled "Shelter." Its a Hostage rescue map set at an animal shelter.

It's looking like sundown.

Team is starting to focus more on lighting as we approach major facade details being blocked in. Can't wait to share more photos of the lovely custom assets we are developing.
