We had to have our photos and biometrics captured on a recent trip.
It was no more painful than a visit to the USA (if anyone still goes there).
Of course if we didnt want to be treated as a '3rd country' we should have stayed in the EU.

Many think that an irrational fear of Europe taking over the lives of the UK is a recent phenomenon. But we saw this cartoon from 1944/45 (discussing post war europe). The fear was apparent then too, despite the fact that a united Europe helped defeat Axis powers.

#Gdansk is such an important (and beautiful) city for modern democracy in Europe. #solidarnosc #solidarity was a hugely important formative component of modern European democracy. We should not let populism destroy what was won.

On a recent visit to #Gdansk the main thing that strikes is the sensitive way they have decided to remember #WW2 (which essentially started there). The people of Gdansk have a wonderful museum that educates and informs with brilliant exhibits.

I have a phev and the proposal means that I would be taxed twice on all miles driven. Surely nonsense proposal by advisor that doesn’t understand phev! This is grossly unfair.

Don't know what the small print will say of course - devil will be in the detail. But regardless, Reeves at least sounds professional and coherent. It feels like she knows what she's talking about. Thats not how Badenoch comes across - petty and ill-informed.
