What's new on Clickly

Main highlight:
Action flows to implement business/UI logic in the apps.
An idea/feature that keeps resurfacing is already costing you time.

Building it once may be cheaper than thinking about it forever.

Even if it's not a top priority at the moment.

Day 493 of building @clickly.app

Refining the backlog, reevaluating the roadmap and planning the next 3-4 months.

Day 492 of building @clickly.app

After finishing the foundation for action flows (together with data formulas), coming back to UI components:

- Expose all events (e.g., onPress, onLongPress, etc.)
- Integrate more UI components (e.g., expo-blur, expo-linear-gradient, etc.).

Action flows in @clickly.app
Super powerful yet simple

Actions go top-to-bottom
Data goes left-to-right

Action flow editor in Clickly allows building advanced logic with flexible data/backend integrations.

Work in progress.

Follow for updates.

The initial version of the action flows is now available.

Still many things to add and improve, but it's a good start.

Great insight on why your product/service should be 9x better than others.

Continue working on the action flow editor in @clickly.app.

Since many components will be shared with the data formulas, some refactoring is required.

Day 474
November 25, 2025 at 9:04 AM
Exploring different options for action flows in @clickly.app.

When it comes to simplicity (good UX) and flexibility (rich functionality), keeping the balance between the two is so important and so not easy.

Guess which one of the four options I eventually chose?

With friends like these, who needs enemies...

P.S. Yes, I mean the current POTUS and his administration. Such a shame.

Data formulas are mostly ready (except for code generation).

Started working on the action flows.

UI, data formulas, and action flows are a triad that allows building scalable mobile apps in @clickly.app.

Day 469
November 20, 2025 at 4:56 AM
More good things for the data formula editor in @clickly.app.

It's a pure joy to build data integrations in a visual way.

Day 468
November 19, 2025 at 9:04 AM
Data formula editor in @clickly.app is getting better and better.

Instead of a single, monolithic HTTP request block, I decided to make it modular.

So, the headers and body can be created separately and hence reused in several places if needed.

Day 467
November 18, 2025 at 10:25 AM
Working on the HTTP request node and its settings.

One of the main features of @clickly.app is the ability to configure and create everything possible in the code. Only in a visual way.

Made some UX/UI and performance improvements in the data formula editor.

It's a pure joy creating data flows there.

Day 464
November 15, 2025 at 9:25 AM
Added more capabilities to the data formulas editor in @clickly.app.

Now, it's possible to create both simple and very complex data flows with ease.

All changes are in real-time, every connection is observable, and it all works pretty fast!

Day 461 @clickly.app

Figured out a couple of UX/technical solutions for data formulas and data queries/mutations.

It will unlock a few essential features and contribute to the tool's overall consistent UX.

Day 460 @clickly.app

Excellent progress with data formulas.

Video shows how to integrate an HTTP API and build a list with images and simple price formatting.

Less than 3 minutes.

While seeing changes live on a simulator and/or on a real phone.

Day 459 of building @clickly.app

Sunday. Good day at church and with family.
Already traditional burgers, board games, a movie, and a lot of laughter.

I love my fam, happy to have them.
They are my best friends and my safety net.
So thankful to God for them.

Day 458:

Second day trying to fix how data formulas work in certain edge cases.
Some good progress, but there are still several areas for improvement.

Day 457 @clickly.app

Adding more functionality to the data formulas editor.
This time, it's the ability to build sub-dataflows within the same data formula.
