Water expands in both cases, but most water on earth isn’t ice. Melting ice is still water expanding when heated. It also rains more. This is what’s happening. We’ve also deforested areas that would soak up the water that keeps falling. Hence the increased flooding in areas we’ve hardly ever seen

I want to drive this point home because this boils down to a long-standing manufactured misunderstanding created by the rich people in power against the poor people they harm so they can keep harming us without consequence.
