I’ve stepped back from my COO role at Digi2al, though I’m still a proud co-founder and cheerleader. It’s been wonderful slowing down, spending time with family, learning new things and volunteering. Grateful for the breather and happily continuing my career break while wondering what will come next.
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure, Charlie Brown.
What’s in the box, Charlie Brown?
The horror, the horror, Charlie Brown.

I have ordered my copy of The Foundation Licence Manual for Radio Amateurs 2025 Edition, and thus begins my journey into becoming a ham radio operator.

My wife offered to repair this damaged squirrel for one of her gardening clients. She rebuilt the leaf using two part epoxy putty. I got busy with the airbrush. Very satisfying.

Of course, the BBC didn’t even *need* to edit the video of Trump’s speech to make the point that he was inciting insurrection. His second impeachment was for doing exactly that.

Let’s take a look at the whole “there are too many black people on TV” thing, shall we?

After Pochin claimed Black people in TV adverts “made her mad”, all her supporters tried to use 👇🏼 as their excuse for why she was somehow justified in her overt racism.

Spoiler - she isn’t! 🤨

Achievement unlocked: compulsory basic training completed. First time riding a motorbike and I loved it.

Zoom describing itself as “AI-first collaboration” is even funnier to me than the current version being v. 6.6.6

Six months of not working is probably making me unbearably happy. I’m walking around Tescos, smiling, appreciating the hell out of everyone else’s need to be in a hurry.

Support your local shoe repair shop. Mine just charged me a whole £7 to stitch up a 10 year old pair of walking boots that were starting to fall apart. They’re waterproof again. I felt the need to buy some other things while I was there; I’d really miss this shop if it closed.

5 months later, not only am I still thoroughly enjoying a weekly barre class but this morning someone asked me “do you dance professionally?”. 🩰💃
Went to my first Barre class today because, obviously, I’m a beautiful ballerina. Gosh. That was an intense workout. You know that feeling where you can’t speak or even really breathe so just have to laugh in exhaustion. Everything aches now. Already looking forward to the next one.

Riot Women (written by Sally Wainwright) is *brilliant*. I initially feared it would be a bit twee and Calendar-Girs-y but blimey the writing and acting are good. Up to episode 3 and it has just kept getting better and better so far.
