Not surprised. I'm asking people around my station hypotheticals on how to operate on or off a patient transport call in the event ICE causes some kind of interference.

I'm not expecting them to just up and try to start shit with us, but they clearly don't care about collateral damages.

So there's one news brief on CBS Chicago about how ICE is making false or unnecessary 911 calls for people outside their Broadview facilities. I saw it on local broadcast but you can find it on YT probably. It was the Broadview police chief in that brief, not the superintendent.

No they're starting to talk about criminal investigations. ICE says they'll cooperate with the investigations but didn't say to what extent, so none of us are holding our breath

The Superintendent himself, the police union, they're all criticizing ICE. ICE is also taxing our dispatching with a bunch of bullshit 911 calls, so needless to say we're not happy with them.
