"Angry Birds Universe" was a educational exhibit that toured around venues from the mid to late 2010's. Part of it features character biographies of each flock member, using Classic artwork, except for Matilda where her bio features her MK3 design but in Classic-style lineart/shading.

Back when the "Harlem Shake" trend was still kicking back in 2013, employees at Rovio Stockholm got together and made their own version of the trend. This video also features unique animation of Red's "MK3" rig and Chuck's "MK3.9" rig respectively.

Rovio Stockholm's building has pictures hung up on the walls featuring concept art from their games. Notably, one of these happens to be concept art for Angry Birds Big Adventure - the time travel themed game that turned into AB2 - showing several character sketches. (1/2)

Concept art of Angry Birds Big Adventure hung up on the walls of Rovio Stockholm. Said artwork features Bird and Pig designs for the planned pre-historic chapter of the game, alongside concept designs for dinosaur-like characters. What their original purpose was in the chapter is unknown.

Before Angry Birds 2 started development, Rovio Stockholm was already toying with certain concepts/ideas that would eventually find their way into AB2. One of those being the "fake-2D" character rigs which Joakim Svärling showed off back in 2018, featuring a Markus-styled Minion Pig.

Alongside that, artist Petri Järvinen has 2 pieces of environmental art for a scrapped project on his Artstation, likely for this project due to the track like environments and the description stating the second image was by Gecek (2/2)

Jakob Foged's portfolio features a storyboard for a scrapped Angry Birds Toons episode. Labelled under "Angry Birds_Eggsoccer", it features Red & Chuck competing against the pigs in a game of soccer to get their egg back, which the pigs are using as the ball.

The Behind the Scenes section of the Piggy Tales DVD shows test animations. One features real claymation with Red and a pig in Cobalt, The other was more accurate to the show, with a early pig model based off of the early toons look, seemingly to be used in final going by a props sheet.

The first/earliest test animation made for Piggy Tales. Featuring Red and a Minion Pig in a Cobalt Plateaus environment, all with real claymation unlike the final show using CG animation stylized like claymation.

The second test animation made for Piggy Tales, more accurate to how the show would actually look. But featuring an earlier pig model more styled like the early toons look instead of the final.

Concept art of AB Toons, featuring the previously mentioned early Minion Pig design.

A props sheet made for the show at the time by César Chevalier. Featuring that earlier pig model, implying it was gonna be the final design in the show originally, instead of an early test model.

Around the early 2010s, British company Panini developed a proposal for an Angry Birds comic, illustrated by Lee Carey. The art mostly consisted of traces from Angry Birds animated shorts. It's unknown how far this proposal got or if Rovio was ever contacted.

A page showing Red spying on a pig base with binoculars and then showing Bomb and a Blue the battle strategy, leading to Bomb pulling back and firing from the slingshot

Another page showing a group of Helmet Pigs getting caught in an explosion (seemingly from Bomb in the previous page), with Red and the Blue celebrating, before noticing King Pig and a Helmet and Minion Pig driving through on a shoddy vehicle with the eggs, to which they both give chase on skateboards.

A page showing two Blues trying to calm down Bomb to prevent him from exploding, by performing activities such as fanning him, playing the harp and lighting candles, which gradually calm him down. Unfortunately, a candle then falls on his fuse, causing it to ignite as the two Blues look at eachother in fear before he blows up.

What appears to be cover art, featuring traced artwork of Red, Bomb and a Minion Pig, with the latter two being their classic designs as opposed to being taken from Miguel Moreno's early art or an animation like the rest of the traced art in the comic.

Back in November 2013, Rovio Japan held an event at the App Bank Store at Shinjuku City with art director Toni Kysenius. The event was about teaching children on how to draw Angry Birds characters step by step. Various images from the event were archived from a blogpost at the time.

Banners from the event outside of the building. Featuring mostly artwork from the 2011 splash screen, except for Red and Bomb who are slightly edited to be more like their Toons designs.

An image of Toni Kysenius' drawings of Red and a Minion Pig at the event. These were the drawings he made while showing children how to draw Angry Birds characters.

Fully new artwork made for the event, also by Toni Kysenius, these were given out to certain people in the audience at the event.

Artist Carl Middleton's portfolio features a reference image made for Air tracks in Angry Birds Go!, featuring an early Minion Pig model closer in appearence to its design that was used 2010 onwards and a beta screenshot showing an earlier rendition of the race start.
