Correct! Gen-ai is a stain on everything it touches.
I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

Unsolicited artist advice of the day: if you're a freelancer with no back up devices or storage, remember to pick a few things up in the black Friday sales. Even a pen drive to back up your projects so if you have a catastrophic hard drive failure you wont lose everything..learn from my mistakes. 😅

I went to a vocational high school and did architectural drafting there, but when I applied to college they wanted me to write an essay about why I wanted to be an architecture student, and I just looked at it like "Shit man, I DON'T." So I went to SCAD sight-unseen, because they taught comics.
