Yes, your Will has an influence on your reality. However, your Will isn't the *only* force in the Universe. This is why some witches will call upon other Spirits, Gods, entities, and intelligences to assist them in their workings.

That's solid advice. Thank you!
That is super helpful. Thank you.
What do you recommend for raising one's vibration? What practical daily practices make the biggest difference? #witchsky
Cast protection on trans and LGBTQIA+ folks. Every day. #witchsky
There is no light without darkness. No life without death.

Yes, I'm love and light. I'm also rage and wrath. #witchsky
I asked one of my first witch mentors when karmic debt is paid off.

"When you decide it is," she said. "When you feel you've suffered enough and learned the lesson."

I've suffered. I've learned. Debt paid.

You can't be empathetic if you're not affirming, accepting, and validating of another's experience. It doesn't work to say, "I refuse to validate your perspective, but I understand how you feel."
That's the core of what empathy is.

The first step toward empathy—and, indeed, toward authentic connection—is to validate the other's experience *even if you're confident your perspective, feelings, assumptions, and preferences would be different.*
I get that. That makes perfect sense.
I'm right there will you. I'm all love and light until I'm unjustifiably crossed. 🔥🔥🔥
lol

That's a mood.
I hate to hear that. May they reap exactly what they've sown.
"You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so that you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it". – Maya Angelou
I'm learning my value.
I'm learning to walk away.
I don't find graveyards creepy. I think they're peaceful.
The greatest lesson I've learned from DBT: Pain does not have to become suffering.
Growth isn't always blooming flowers and green leaves. Sometimes it's pruned branches and exposed roots.

That true in gardening, witchcraft, trauma recovery, and life. Sometimes simultaneously. #witchsky
When you ask the Divine to help you grow, even if it's hard, know this—your call will be answered.

I'd say "be prepared," but I don't think that's possible. Instead, I'll say "be grateful," even when it hurts. #witchsky
Thank you for sharing this. Your thoughtful reflections resonate with this eclectic witch.
The pain of trauma recovery is visceral and real. It runs deep and tends to last a while.

If you know someone who's working to heal from past trauma, be supportive and patient. The journey is a tough one.
The fact that all "gender neutral" terms were originally gendered male should tell you everything you need to know.

They're not gender neutral. They never were. Folks just refuse to acknowledge the issue they present.
"dude", "bro", "man"... is it also gender neutral if I call just anyone "girlie", "princess" or "my good bitch"?

This speaks to me.

I love beautiful altars,
but the deeper question is always:
how much of my soul
have I poured into this space?

How many tears, intentions,
or moments of growth live here?

An altar can hold objects,
but it should also hold transformation.

Witchcraft: lived, not owned.

A few Occultists over the ages have mentioned the Latin phrase, "propter vitam vivendi perdere causas" as being one of the worst failures of an occultist. That being, materialism. To live a life outside, while abandoning the rich inner world.
