NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

The thing about the debate of whether the Bible does or doesn’t condone slavery is that it kinda doesn’t matter.

Ultimately, if you need an invisible deity to tell you that the buying, selling, or ownership of other humans is wrong, you have much bigger fish to fry than the errancy of the Bible.

Fenway health in Boston has stopped providing gender affirming care to trans youth.

I was previously on the board of this organization and I've never been so disgusted with their leadership cowardly capitulating like this.

Oh, and not just our neighbor, but our family. If they didn't accept jesus, they might have to die. Especially anyone that married outside their race or if they were queer. They were considered tainted by demons. Even poor people were singled out as moral failures. This has only grown since the 80s.
