one thing that always stands out about this art to me as well is the depiction of sin eaters as beings *with* a being clearly visible inside their mouths. like it's taking pains to highlight the fact that sin eaters are largely born of former people

RGG localizer Michele Howe (Neverwhere/Nevvie) has just passed. If you can, please share or donate to the fundraiser for a proper coronary report and final expenses.

Just after 12am local time (8am BST) on October 16th 2025, Nevvie collapsed mid-sentence and never regained consciousness.

Despite the best efforts of myself and the emergency services she slipped away rapidly and was pronounced dead within the hour. The LA coroner won’t be investigating the cause of her sudden death because “she was fat”. I am pursuing a 3rd party investigation and waiting for more information.

This happened six days after our 16th anniversary, Nevvie was 47. Four years ago we lost our home to a fire. This year she lost her father while I was in hospital for emergency spine reconstruction surgery. Though it could be stressful she had a job she loved at Sega, a company she could be proud to be part of, one she helped to unionize.

Regardless of how you feel about the state of COVID, a mass public gathering like FanFest is a breeding ground for all sorts of illnesses. Masking up minimizes the spread of all sorts of contagions.

Y'know how people talk about con funk or con flu? yeah, masking will help with that. please mask up.

I beg of y'all, if you truly want to defend Soken, then PLEASE mask up if you attend FanFest! Let that mask be your shield to protect Soken and others that are immunocompromised!!

with fanfest coming back around people are reflecting on the furry covid comic about it but as someone who went, there were shockingly few people actually wearing masks. if you go this year i’d really recommend an N95. people knowingly go to huge public events with infectious diseases.

Gonna add on to this, my group was one of the few masked, but sadly only one of us wore the heavey duty N95 mask and that friend was the one that did not catch it. If I am blessed enough to go, I will not be making the same mistake twice, please be safe and protect this man.
