Was proud to be there and represent my core beliefs, that all are created equal, that the Constitution was one of the things that made America great, and that we got rid of kings 250 years ago and we're not about to bend the knee to a wanna be one now!!

The power still lies with the people. Upset kids just toppled the regimes in Nepal and Madagascar. Here, more and more people are waking up to the perfidy of our own fascist regime every day. The more they try to suppress, the more rise up.

Paywall, but this is interesting to me. Both of my kids were reading before kindergarten, our oldest at 3 1/2 (yes actual words, not just identifying letter sounds) and frankly I think it's because we read to them all the time. Dr Seuss's "Hop on Pop" was the breakthrough for our oldest.

I agree tho, I love severe weather, (just not the death and destruction part.) Watching the uncontrolled wrath Mother Nature can unleash is awe inspiring, right up there with the view from a mountain peak.
