I used to be really scared of Jack Skellington when I was a little kid but I eventually grew out of it and now that I look at The Nightmare Before Christmas as a grown adult, I realize the truly scary characters are Lock, Shock, and Barrel

They are just so unsettling to me when they're unmasked 😭
