Fluffy Bum Friday?

Found this little beauty wandering around on the bathroom floor. Relocated it to the sunny roof outside so it could warm up thoroughly before flying away.

Found three Green Shieldbugs (Palomena prasina) inside a garden wheelie bin today, waiting patiently to be let out. Relocated to a dense patch of ivy. In Upshire, Essex. Two still green, the other in brown winter mode. #EssexWildlife #UKBugs

Its that time of year again: a male Snow Flea, one of 3 seen yesterday in woodland on the Shrops/Herefords border. These 4mm relatives of Scorpionflies live in moss (esp. Polytrichum & relatives) & are winter active as adults. Not fleas of course but they can jump a bit.

2. Between English and Brazilian Portuguese

I'm very pleased to be booked in for my hernia op next week, but the upshot is that my Etsy shop will then be closed for about a week. So, if you had your eye on a Christmas present for a bug enthusiast, this week is the best time to place an order. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Mart...
