After working for a couple of videogames during months, I could finally send my last writing tasks.
No matter how much I work a day, I always think I could have worked even more and I don't enjoy my free time.

Getting hired to write a horror game is so funny to me because I jump from browsing the cute, silly, little stuff I like such as animals made of polymer clay and Infinity Nikki dresses to thinking about twisted ways to break my character's mind and have them commit murder.

I just got hired to write a branched-narrative game that has a very fun twist in how the player chooses different outcomes, yay!

What boggles me the most about people using LLMs to brainstorm or write stories is that they're skipping the fun part of the process. That's the good stuff! I see something amazing in my mind that's unlike anything anyone else sees & I craft it using words my unique lived experience has taught me

Today we had the presentation of the Game Club I'm co-coordinating in my local public library (which, btw, has a pretty long waiting list!!) and I had the pleasure to announce to all participants that I am forcing them to play Night in the Woods with me so we can all cry together.
Man I can't wait.

Today I came up with an addition to one game I work on thinking it would be fun and easy to implement and I got the producer and programmer to discuss during one hour about how to code it and not end up with a lot of spaghetti code.

Ha sido muy chulo ver a tanta gente reírse con mis diálogos, y me pone muy feliz escuchar a los jugadores comentar lo mucho que los han disfrutado 🤭
