Hey #ottawa : lets see how prepared the City is to handle a wee bit of snow tomorrow, with an eye on the various comments of the benefits to having employees returning full-time into in-person office work for the downtown businesses.
How quickly will sidewalks get cleared?
Will #ottLRT be solid?
🤔

Everyone here that lives in/ around #ottawa should take the minute or so to read this thoughtful retort to 'Tim'.

As a "reliable yes-man for every budget", Tim owns the impacts of these noted issues, yet, is good to point the finger at others.

#ottpoli is alive and well.
Councillor Tim Tierney is wrong about ‘Chronic No-Voters’ in his Ottawa Citizen Op/Ed on Saturday.
His opinion would be easier to take seriously if the comments weren’t coming from someone with a 15-year track record of being a reliable yes-man for every budget. 1/21

It’s-26C with the wind chill and we have Evening Grosbeaks at one of the feeders.
Thought for sure that these birds would have migrated…

If your operation is dependent on 3rd-party supplier/ provider, do you know what their continuity strategy is when faced with service failure?
Here, supplier has totally transferred #BusinessContinuity risk onto its customers!

Just received this promo...and I feel honoured:

Hear that folks...the FIRST!

I want to hear it in his own honest no-holds barred words from former #PMJT on WTH happened since 2015, on PP still hanging on, former advisors turned Carney cheerers, and dealing/placating with King T.

He owes zero allegiance to @liberalca.bsky.social

Interesting how this is not an issue in other parts of the City of #ottawa @en.ottawa.ca where farm gets sold and new owner rapidly builds massive building and stores various heavy machinery (and gets frequent deliveries of other competing companies aggregates)

Wow! Many questions.
Climate folks seemed way too chill.

At the 30 seconds mark: how many people does it take to use an extinguisher?

#preparedness also applies to mass-gatherings like conferences.

First that pic: Oktoberfest. Older than Zs.
Ever been to “sucrerie” / “cabane à sucre” in #quebec / #canada ? Esti (oreilles de) crisse!
This #GenX prefers bar-seating when dining out solo on BizTrips for same!

Hey @en.ottawa.ca :
Any chance that #ottawa draft budget can include a few $ toward improving traffic flow (and road safety!) with upgrading traffic lights to add turning signals for intersection of Terry Fox+Campeau in #kanata ?
What a mess!

Pothole Prevention Program in #ontario : www.nugget.ca/news/nipissi...

“set standards … while also promoting high-quality roadwork across the province“
Well maybe if the quality was there initially rather than just another construction job supporting contract it would be better!

Wrong prevention!

Today i learned that Taiwan had its pineapple crisis from foreign interference of another country.
Response: screw you…we found others willing to buy our pineapples. We don’t need you!

In this case lies an important lesson / strategy for #canada in response to US tariffs ans threats!

Careful people: with a lot of focus on those emails/files, keep an eye on the apparatus for signs of some critical event to distract !!!

Whether war or some other machismo flex, he will attempt to distract from this!

Sickening!

How do you prepare your organization or clients for the perennial XMas / Holiday season as a leading practice, while still allowing people to enjoy and detach themselves from the ever-present threat of disruptions to critical functions?

I understand the purpose and protocols for half-masting.

However, I wonder if it would be more impactful on this day of honour and remembrance to full-mast other flags of Indigenous peoples to make it clear for all to reflect on the significance of this day.
Today, November 8, is Indigenous Veterans Day.

We honour and remember the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Veterans who have served with courage and distinction in Canada’s military.

To mark this day of reflection and recognition, flags at #OttCity Hall will be lowered to half-mast.
