A lot of the discussion about Vancouver's housing crisis is shortsighted. The primary cause of today's crisis is the collapse in housing production in the 1970s. Gregor was just the one holding the hand grenade when the accumulated shortage reached catastrophic proportions.

Autocrats always go after judges first because judges are the last line of defense for rule of law and due process.

We cannot let this stand.

The night of the English-language election debate in Montreal was not Canadian journalism’s finest night.

There were heated arguments in the press room, an attempt to crash a CBC broadcast, a line of police officers to ensure journalists could do their jobs and a cancelled post-debate scrum.

also, Canadians should be listening to Canadaland anyway. Fantastic reporting about issues pertinent to Canadians.
Every Canadian should listen to this. The media are the voice of the people. And politicians must be held accountable. Politicians that run and hide from media should not be trusted. Ever.

I’ll let you know if I get some. I’m keen to try them for sure.
Ya fair enough. That’s a factor. Hopefully they can get a few more fitting locations across Canada. I think their website lists a spot in Toronto. But I guess if you’re anywhere between Van and TO, you’re out of luck.
I have not yet. Might be up for new irons next year and these will be first on my list to try.
