54 yrs old & just seen my first in the wild little glider of some sort, i actually seen it last night but from a distance after hearing a noise while outside triggering the septic pump. Curious little thing tonight, i could only see its eyes in a tree about 20mt away to start & then it came closer

I honesty haven't been this bummed as a motorsport fan since Glenn Seton's engine blew 9 laps from the end while comfortably leading the Bathurst 1000 in 1995, as Blue Oval man and Seton fan i turned the race off for the first time ever with it going to be yet another Holden win.
Definitely Game over for Oscar this year, its been a sad second half as a fan

Irene Thornton ex wife of the great Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott has apparently passed away, although she confirmed & denied many myths i bet she still had many untold stories of her years hanging with Bon & Fraternity & then ACDC. R.I.P Irene.

Definitely won't get photos, couldn't find a good place to go with a nice foreground subject 😕
Currently on Aurora watch, although it's meant to peak around 3am to 6am so I'm not sure I'll get any photos

Melbourne just created a new world record for the most Bag pipers(374) all playing along to ACDC "It’s a long way to the top" it featured ages from as young as about 8 yr to a 98 yr old plus 2 of the guys from the original film clip/song

I'm Knackered now after a 400km round trip, and standing in the heat all day. Deleted most bad shots on the fly today, but still came back with 410 to sort and edit 👍
