UK Labour voter and Private Eye crossword & Fantasy Football enjoyer. Aiming for even fewer Tories in next election 😈. Less outrage, more facts 👍. #ElectoralReform #Rejoin 🇪🇺 #RDGUK #HamsturDay

A person wanting to be a future leader of the UK encouraging its breaking up is a first.

Holy crap 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
robin.bobin.uk
Yeah she was atrocious lol.

Hahaha thought exactly the same. I do feel sorry for him sometimes— you get to the highest job in the land and it's like a public-facing service job having to explain basic stuff to rowdy customers lol.
robin.bobin.uk
Absolutely. He really shows his worth when it comes to legal stuff, which is pretty important for a government.

And he believes in bipartisan unity against threats towards MPs.

Yep. PMQs gives you a good sense of perspective on Keir Starmer in a cautionary "Here's what you could have won" sense.

#Pmqs ah, I’m very greatful Keir Starmer is our PM
robin.bobin.uk
Hahahaha holy crap Starmer is obliterating Badenoch who is flying into narcissistic rage as he reads out her embarrassing past comments saying that "we should stop describing China as a foe or threat".

This is a significant PMQs.

Yup, they know what they are doing. A good rule I always apply is to assume the most conservative interpretation of a headline.

Embarrassing that the BBC used exactly the same headline as The Independent.

Migrants will need A-level standard English to work in UK
Toughening up language requirements latest move in Labour’s immigration crackdown

When was it sold as that?
robin.bobin.uk
Hahaha. That's funny. A lot of people are going to have to reconcile their strongly-held views.
robin.bobin.uk
Yes that's a good point about the potential effect of FPTP on voting turnout. Of course, there's still a good reason to vote even in that situation but I can see that some people wouldn't bother.

A shift to PR will probably boost the turnout especially in the first one.

I thought it was banned 🤦‍♂️

Remember to boycott Amazon.

It's actually really easy using a combination of high street stores like Argos, and eBay. You don't need Amazon and all the negative consequences which come from supporting it.

I even go into Argos in person. It's a nice/nostalgic experience.

The uplift was temporary anyway due to Covid.

It's The Guardian.

Reform voters strongly believe in extreme capitalism.

This is a really good example of media outrage-baiting and embarrassing coming from BBC.

—It means B2 level, equivalent to a foreign language A-level standard.

—It applies to SOME graduates and those applying for skilled worker or scale-up visas.

Less outrage, more scrutiny 👍.

Migrants will need A-level standard English to work in UK
The tougher rules will come in force in January as part of wider plans to cut immigration.

robin.bobin.uk
It means as a foreign language not native English A level.
robin.bobin.uk
How on Earth have you connected this to racists. You have really fallen for the outrage bait in this headline unfortunately. Read the article.
robin.bobin.uk
No, it actually means the equivalent if English were a foreign language A-level, like A-level French.
robin.bobin.uk
It's actually more clear when you read the article itself:

"Those applying for skilled worker, scale-up and high potential individual (HPI) visas will be required to reach B2 level - a step up from the current B1 standard which is equivalent to GCSE."
