National Average attainment score was 21.0 (up 0.3 points from 2024). 37% of pupils scored 25 (full marks), up 3% from 2024.

Agree there needs to be caution. But I’d like to imagine a world where we’re all using the same evaluation criteria, and the inspector’s role is to QA school leaders’ self evaluation, judgements and impact of identified dev priorities…
