Apple TV has canceled or put on the back burner a few titles that were to soon be released over some political issue or because “someone” in the fascist government was butt hurt.

It’s stuff like this that makes me want to cancel my subscription. I don’t wanna pay for censorship.

Perhaps the best case scenario is that we all go back to keeping a little black book of written phone numbers and information separate from a phone. And keep the phone as empty of data as possible. That way, nobody really gets anything if they do swipe it up.

Well, you could build a small Faraday cage for it if you felt that even at home, you were susceptible to being hacked. Other than that, there’s really no assurance that you won’t be at some point.

I think if you do need it at a protest as a form of communication, getting a burner is the option.

I would recommend leaving your phone at home, or as Parkrose recommends, getting a burner with nothing on it of personal value. My other consideration would be to buy a GoPro or a GoPro knock-off with at least 1080P, if not 4K, resolution and use that in place of a mobile phone.
