Tomorrow I'm leaving on a little weekend trip for my birthday. We've been planning it since the beginning of the year and I can't believe it's almost time.

The only downside is I'm gonna miss this little hairball while I'm gone ❤️‍🩹 (a friend will be coming over to feed him, but still)

Simba cuddled up next to me on the couch yesterday, and I unfortunately had to get up. I thought he would get fussy and start walking around, but he stayed like this and fell asleep.

Every time I think he can't out-cute himself, he keeps proving me wrong. 😆😻💛

He hadn't eaten here since Saturday noon bc he was too occupied, and his "little friends" ran off at the sight of me, therefore not letting him have food.

Today he finally came for breakfast & is currently napping on my couch, so I think dating season is over for now and we're back to normal. 😹

Realized I totally forgot to tell about this over here, but this sweet little baby that you see here spent the entire long weekend chasing after girl cats. 😅

The dogs barking in the background might drown them out for most of this, sorry. 😅 Simba just purrs really quietly, this might be the most I've managed to capture his purrs in a recording so far.

Weirdly bummed at the fact that now, because of my wisdom teeth removal, I can no longer say "I have never gotten surgery or stitches for anything" anymore. Feels like I lost one of my biggest flexes.

I guess I at least still got the "I've never broken any bones" flex. 😬

Just got back from my wisdom teeth removal.

Surgery went well. The right side of my face (where they got both teeth out of) hurts and feels swollen on the inside, which I'm told is normal.

Obviously not feeling great right now, but here's hoping the recovery goes well.

Searching through some old stuff, I found these pieces from an old college assignment. If I'm not wrong, we had to make a diorama of sorts for a game concept, and I designed a Connect 3 mobile game with a fairies and mining theme.

I had totally forgotten about it. Wow.

I know, right? Even though I do miss when he would fall asleep on my lap after eating back when he was a bit younger (and not as energetic 😅), I love how he continues to show me his affection and trust in little ways such as this. 😊

Semi-related to my previous post, middle school me was a FOOL for giving away things such as my movie Barbies (including Barbie Rapunzel and Dandelion from Fairytopia) or my Pixie Hollow magazines (that had illustrations from the graphic novels).

What I wouldn't give to have those back today. 🥲
